Cheer Up, It's Going to Get Worse

Transition movements are starting to get some good press.

Transition Santa Cruz was featured in an article in the Santa Cruz Weekly, Santa Cruz Group Gears Up for Life After Cheap Oil.

I just realized that this was the same night at the symposium. I'll see if i can get it rescheduled.

I'm in Kensington, but most of the people I know who are interested in this are in the Takoma Park area.

Can you switch the night of the Escape from Suburbia movie showing?

The Transition Towns group in the DC area - Ecolocity - is inviting folks to this event - Symposium with Bill McKibben, Wendell Berry and Gus Speth - now moved to George Washington University Lisner Auditorium 730 21st Street NW Washington DC because so many people were registering for it. It will be great and a rare opportunity to see these legendary leaders in the sustainability movement! http://ecolocity.ning.com/events/a-night-with-wendell-berry

Welcome Tim! Great to see you here in TRANSITION MARYLAND!!

Feel free to start inviting other Transition-minded people -- particularly your backyard farming...! And be sure to welcome others who have already joined. This is the beginning of a new community. We're permaculturalists at hear, right? Water the seeds and they will grow.

Please note the new MOMResources tab on the main menu.

Let me know if you have questions.
