We held a Core Planning Group meeting on Oct 28. Interest is continuing to grow. We now have 3 working groups: Three-Sisters Gardens, Alternative Currencies, Re-Skilling with more to come. We also talked about a "Cooking Together" group and an "Evolutionary Women" group (as part of the Heart & Soul concept). Once more people are part of the NING, I will start using the EVENTS and NOTES sections more . .

We had a meeting of the Alternative Currencies Working Group before the GCAN Meeting on Oct 14. There were only 3 of us there (Bob Fireovid, Shirley Middleton, Lore Rosenthal). I think Bob Snyder and Angela Miotto arrived later. We tried to split up the research for the various currencies. More info to follow

I have posted the notes from our May 8 "Open Space" Gathering, under the Discussion Forum. Do you think we should do this every month?

As a follow-up to the May 13th GCAN Meeting, GHI/GCAN/Master Gardeners are co-hosting a workshop on Sun, June 28 on the topic of Growing Food in Small Yards. This is our first hands-on workshop to learn the resiliency skill of growing your own food.
